The Department of Arabic is established in Cachar College in the year 1978 with the initiative of late Dr. Abdul Musabbir Bhuiya, retired Profesor from Assam University Silchar.It flourished well by his endeavour and stood 1st and best graduates many times from this college.This department from its establishment did well years after years and glorified the college by the endeavour,effort and initiative of the department as well as by the co-operation of the authority and expected to continue the process of development of the department so in future.
